Maintenance & Facilities Manager

Applications are invited for an Ongoing position as Maintenance & Facilities Manager. The successful applicant will be the team leader in charge of our cleaning & maintenance team and will be full time (38 hours per week).  We will be looking for this person to commence as soon as possible.

A copy of the full role description is available on our school website, under the employment tab, The job will involve managing and performing routine maintenance of the school property and the school grounds, including general landscaping improvements. 

The successful applicant will possess the skills and abilities necessary for this position, will be appropriately qualified, demonstrate enthusiasm and have the ability to work unsupervised.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022 as a School Services Officer, Category A, with pay level dependent on qualifications and skill level.

Grounds & Maintenance Assistant

Applications are also invited for an Ongoing position as a grounds and maintenance assistant. The successful applicant will be a part our grounds, cleaning & maintenance team, working closely with the Maintenance Manager and will be full time (38 hours per week).  We will be looking for this person to commence as soon as possible.

A copy of the full role description is available on our school website, under the employment tab; this job will involve routine cleaning, grounds work and maintenance of the school property; helping maintain the lawns, garden beds, trees and shrubs in the school grounds, including general landscaping works. 

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022 as a School Services Officer, Category A, Level SSO 1-1.

The successful applicant will possess the skills and abilities necessary for this position, will be have relevant experience and skills, demonstrate enthusiasm and have the ability to work as part of a team.

Both successful applicants will hold a current Working with Children check and will need to commit to undergo a National Police Record Check.

Term 4 Classroom Teaching Positions

Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers for two Classroom Teaching positions for Term 4 only.  

These are both full-time leave replacement positions; one in a Year 5 classroom and one in a Foundation classroom.

Graduate teachers are very welcome to apply; a secondment from another school could be negotiated for an experienced teacher.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children and will be employed under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.

The successful applicant will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities, and be able to provide care and support for students whilst supporting and respecting the ethos of the school and its environment.

The successful applicant will hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
