URGENT: Update to SIMON & Google Security
Principal Message | Matthew O'Brien
I big couple of days in Horsham. Lots of EBA talk and the unsuccessful SIMON cyber attack absorbed much of the time. We also looked at the Strategy 2035 and actions for next year. On a personal note, I was farewelled along with Lee Schlooz and Olga Lyons from our area.
To reiterate the message above - Please change your SIMON password and your Google password as a matter of urgency. Many of our email addresses and passwords have been found on the dark web. A reminder that you should not be using a school email account for personal transactions.
If you have any other accounts that are linked to your school email with your school password this account may be compromised.
Staff Meetings
A reminder that staff meetings are compulsory for all teachers. They begin at 3:45pm. Please make sure that you make these a priority. If you are unable to attend due to an emergency please let Matt know in person.

Transition:
Thank you for the work that is going into grouping students for next year and providing extra preparation for transition into new classrooms. It is great to see classes and LSO's going to visit the areas for the new year. Sending children on jobs to classrooms is helping students to feel more comfortable for next year.
